A millionaire's first love (movie review)

Love this more than I expected...a very, very beautiful love story...

I didn't expect it to be so good. It grabs you and doesn't let you go. The plot is kinda simple - 18-year-old heir Kang Jaekyung (played by Bin Hyeon) is a spoiled brat who is used to getting everything he wants. Alas, he will be entitled to his grandfather's millions only if he will graduate at particular school in particular place. At first he is being rebellious and all, but then he realizes that he's seeing this girl Choi Eunwhan (played by Yeonhee Lee) more often. Of course, the title suggests that he will fall in love. But it's trickier than it seems, because Eunwhan has a heart-disease and then the changes begin. It might be a sappy love story as the summary title has stated, but it's just a beautiful story which will move one who is watching it.

200 pounds of beauty (movie review)

Well, the story is simple, a fat girl with a good voice is a ghost singer for a famous pop star, the pop star makes fun of her in front of the man she loves. She leaves for god knows how long and comes back as a beautiful and thin girl. Over all, I recommend the film. It's very enjoyable to watch all over again. The humor in this film is placed in all the right moments, making you laugh at a moment so simple but right. This film definitely opens the eyes of individuals going through what Hanna does, or those who believe superficial beauty is the only beauty. The message of this film is not that plastic surgery is the key to being happy or successful, but any beauty is so much more beautiful and real than the superficial one. After you get done with this movie, I guarantee that you will either cry or feel a different air about the controversial topic we all face through in life.

Azumi (movie review)

Azumi is very impressive and ambitious with a very good flow that keeps viewers interested from beginning to end. Azumi sets itself apart from cheesy samurai and kung-fu flicks that tend to find their way to American audiences and while not perfect, is a wonderful action film. If you love action and samurai films, then this one will not disappoint you.. This is the coolest movie I have seen in a long time...The plot was good. Although the major point of this movie are the fight scenes, which were spectacular, they aren't leading the movie but are being led by the story. Again, the movie reveals to us the sternness of the Japanese character, one that never looks back and ready to achieve he's goal whatever the cost is.Fight scenes are great, no much to add... Overall i enjoyed it much and would recommend it to anyone that likes action.

He was cool...

One of the SWEEEtest movie ever....

This movie is a sweet maybe the sweetest movie I have ever seen. The screenplay is fantastic. The story is very good...This movie does have some very laugh out loud moments. The story also gets emotional near the ending. He was cool is one of the best romantic comedies ever made. Its highly recommended to everybody, because it has everything, great cast and great story with lots of humor and emotions. I just simply fell in love with Song Seung Heon after watching this movie, he's so adorable, words cant explain.He is tough but still so innocent and sweet. And the actress is cute as well. And the action sequence is cool too. This movie makes you laugh and cry, and the ending is so sweet. Totally recommended...

100 days with Mr. Arrogant (movie review)

If you're a fan of Korean romantic comedies then you'll like this film. Like many Korean romantic comedies the relationship starts off as dislike/hate and develops into love. The actors also had nice chemistry and were believable as a couple. Minor Spoiler below: This film has a happy (if somewhat cheesy) ending. No one dies and no one drops out of the storyline for good. If you like movies with a happily ever after ending then you'll like this one.


100 Days With Mr. Arrogant is a Korean movie about your average high school senior Kang Ha-yeong (Ha Ji-won) who just had her heart broken, and meeting a gorgeous yet totally conceited guy Lee Hyeong-jun (Kim Jae-Won), thanks to fate. A kicked soda can that missed and hit Hyeong-jun instead, who was driving and hit a wall, leaving a dent in his Lexus 430, if I'm not mistaken. Hyeong-jun confronts Ha-yeong about the matter and asks for 3 grand to pay for the damages. Obviously not having that kind of money, Hyeong-jun instead forces the poor schoolgirl into an agreement wherein she will be his slave for 100 days. Of course, over the duration of the agreement they soon start having feelings for one another.

A Wolf's Temptation (movie review)

The beatings are awesome, but the story's just as good..

If you are well aware of Korean Dramas and Movies .. This movie might not offer something new to you..Without the right actors, this movie would probably have disappointed fans of the novel. But because the actors fit the roles perfectly, the movie is engrossing--I honestly couldn't stop watching. Kang Dong Won, despite his pretty face, gives an awesome, heartrending performance, not to mention Lee Chung Ah and Jo Han Sun, plus all the supporting actors... Overall, it is one of the best movies I've seen..

Tae-sung is a carefree guy who seems to love getting into trouble, as well as fights. He's the leader of his school, and is the rival of Hea-won, who's the leader of his own school - a bit of a playboy, hot-headed and a rich boy. Then there's Han-kyung, a girl with not a lot going for her - her father just passed away and she moved back with her mother, the guy she liked is dating her old friend -, and then she meets Hea-won, who goes to her school, and Tae-sung, who calls her "nuna" (older sister). Eventually, she discovers Tae-sung is her brother, fruit of one of her father's affair, and he loves her despite of their blood relation. Meanwhile, Hea-won falls for her, and takes her as his boyfriend. But she is torn between her boyfriend and her little brother, who confesses her love to her.

My wife is a gangster 3 (movie review)

Comedy and action mixed quite well....

Not having seen the My Wife is a Gangster "1' and "2" earlier versions this was viewed as standalone with no expectations of being part 3 of a trilogy. My wife is a gangster 3 revolves around Ah Ryoung (Qi Shu), who is framed of murdering a crime boss from a rival gang to her father's. When her father tells her to evacuate Hong Kong until the heat dies down, she chooses to go to South Korea, a country where her unknown mother was born. A Korean mob boss, orders his third in charge Ki Chul (played by Lee Bum Soo) to protect Ah Ryoung during her stay. What started as a mutual relationship between Ki Chul and Ah Ryoung slowly develops into passionate love.

I loved this film even though Im not familiar with the first two. I had no idea of what was in store before watching this, except that the title itself projects a sense of violence. I love gangster movies and after seeing this i even loved it more.

The comedy was very funny at times see for yourself. Truly entertaining, overall funny, cool action scenes and a bit of that comic romance. Watch it, its worthwhile.

A Very Special Love (Movie Review)

The story is about a moody Editor-in-chief Miggy Montenegro who is in the verge of losing his staff as well as his men's magazine, Bachelor. Laida, a naïve young girl, applies as an Editorial Assistant hoping to be close with the man she dreams of every night. Because of the movie's humorous lines the audience can't stop laughing and crying and giggling and laughing again. If you love romantic comedy, this is a nice one....
